Pumpkin Bread

A staple of fall is pumpkin. One of our go-to pumpkin recipes is this quick and easy pumpkin bread recipe. We often spice it up by adding chocolate chips or pair it with a rich cream cheese frosting. This recipe makes about four loafs. Gift them to your friends and neighbors or make them for a family gathering!

  • 2/3 cups Margarine or Butter
  • 2 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 can Pumpkin (2 cups)
  • 2/3 cup Water
  • 3 1/3 cups Flour
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Cloves

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Mix ingredients in a large bowl or stand mixer.
  • At the bottom of the loaf pan or muffin tin, sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar. Pour batter into loaf pans or muffin tin. To finish it off sprinkle a little more cinnamon and sugar on top to give a nice outer shell.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
