Wildflowers in Bloom
Richardson’s Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival
What began as a small community event in spring 1993, celebrating the wildflowers planted throughout Richardson, today has “blossomed” into one of the most recognized and anticipated musical events in North Texas.
Celebrating its 32nd year, the Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival draws thousands of fans each spring to Galatyn Park Urban Center with must-see events for everyone, including live entertainment by 100-plus performers of national, regional, and local fame, on six stages, over three days the third weekend in May. This year’s top headliners include Randy Rogers Band, KC and the Sunshine Band, Sister Sledge, AWOLNATION, Raised Right Men, and many more.
Beyond the Stages at Wildflower! are fun art, games, activities, and kid friendly tunes to move, groove and enjoy. Relax in the Craft Beer or Cupcake Vineyards Wine Gardens or choose from an array of local cuisine as well as traditional festival treats.
SWAY’s Bloom is a family-friendly, colorful, and spirited performance that explores themes of earth and nature, community, transformation, individuality, and diversity, all taking place atop 14-foot wildflower sway poles.
Festival hours begin Friday, May 17 at 6 pm and run through 6 pm Sunday with one, two, and three-day ticket packages available on site and online.
