Dallas resident Bruce A. Bleakley, a retired Air Force pilot and former director of aero-themed museums in San Diego and Dallas, has written four books about the history of aviation in North Texas.

Dee is a semi-retired journalist residing in San Angelo with her husband, Jerry. She has enjoyed communication careers at West Texas Rehabilitation Center, Angelo State University and San Angelo Standard-Times.

Eric Miller
Former frequent flier Eric Miller always looks for interesting things to do in airport terminals. Eric also remembers his family’s 1956 Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon—including the portholes over the front tires—a perfect road-trip vehicle.

Jim Steiert
Jim is a longtime magazine and newspaper writer who grew up on a farm in Castro County between the communities of Hart and Nazareth. He wrote his first story on the Nazareth Christmas Pageant in 1973.

Marian Wiederhold
Marian, docent at the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum, is a fifth-generation Wend whose great-great grandfather, George Kasper, immigrated to Texas on the Ben Nevis. His traveling trunk is featured in the Wendish Museum. Marian was baptized, confirmed, and married in St. Paul Lutheran Church, and in due time she intends to also be buried in St. Paul Cemetery.

Mike Carlisle
Mike is executive director of the Texas Tropical Trail Region with an avid interest in ships, planes, trains, and automobiles.

Randall Kinzie
Randall Kinzie is owner and manager of the Stone Village Tourist Camp in Fort Davis and member-manager for the Texas Mountain Trail Region on the Authentic Texas LLC board.

T. Lindsay Baker
DR. Baker, retired as director of the W. K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas, is the author of 21 books on Texas and the American West.
